Where Wafeq is the better buy

No software wins every case. Wafeq is the stronger choice if you need:

  • Payroll and fixed-asset management inside the same system — which means Premium at 2,390 a year
  • AI that reads your bills and receipts for you
  • A public API, or automatic bank feeds

If what you actually need is Phase 2, stock, and a till running at the lowest predictable cost — that is what Haseem is built for.

Questions

Before you leave Wafeq

Is Haseem compliant with ZATCA Phase 2?

Yes. Haseem is approved by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority and meets Phase 2 requirements — on every plan, with no compliance upgrade to buy.

Does Wafeq have a cashier?

No. Wafeq is e-invoicing and accounting software and does not include a built-in point of sale on any plan — not even Premium at 2,390 a year. Selling over a counter means buying separate POS software and wiring it to Wafeq. In Haseem the cashier sits in the entry plan.

What is the real price difference against Wafeq?

Haseem starts at 49 a month billed annually, and Phase 2, stock, and a till are in that price. With Wafeq, Phase 2 begins at Plus (1,430 a year) and inventory begins at Premium (2,390 a year).

Why compare Essential against Plus?

Because they are the closest equivalents: both carry Phase 2, purchases, and cost centres. Haseem Essential is 708 a year and Wafeq Plus is 1,430 a year — a difference of 722.

Is the point of sale really included, or is there a catch?

It is in the subscription. Every plan carries checkout points — one on Invoicing, two on Essential, five on Business — with till sessions, cashier permissions, and a live link to stock. Past five tills, each extra one is 49 a month.

Do cashier receipts meet Phase 2?

Yes. Simplified invoices issued at the till meet Phase 2 requirements. If your shop runs high daily volume, the Business plan is the right fit — invoices there are unlimited.

Can I move my data across from Wafeq?

Yes. You export your data out of Wafeq and send the files across — the Haseem tech team uploads them and sets the account up for you. Message the team on WhatsApp to start.

Does Haseem work in English?

Yes. The software and support both run in Arabic and English, and invoices can be issued in either language.

When is Wafeq the better choice?

If you need payroll and fixed-asset management in the same system (which requires Premium at 2,390 a year), AI that reads your bills, a public API, or automatic bank feeds.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. Prices shown exclude VAT, which is added at the statutory rate.

Is Haseem a good Wafeq alternative in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. For a Saudi business that wants ZATCA Phase 2, inventory, and a cashier in one price, Haseem is a strong Wafeq alternative — every plan is Phase 2 compliant, stock and point of sale are included, and Essential is 708 a year against Wafeq Plus at 1,430 a year.
